Material Histories & Reframing the East End

Five large-scale textile banners trace the craft heritage of the East End from Huguenot silk to Bangladeshi garment-making, displayed at Oxford House in Bethnal Green for the launch alongside photography by Rehan Jamil. The collaborators are in the room on the opening day, and the cloth they made still carries the memory of the trade.
