Design Camp: Designing with Light and Shadow (ages 11–14)

the Design Museum · 224-238 Kensington High St, London W8 6AG

29 July 2026

Young designers aged eleven to fourteen learn cyanotype, the Victorian technique that uses sunlight to make prints on paper or fabric, rediscovered by a generation that can take a photograph but rarely touches the process. The Design Museum's studios face a garden; the light does what the Victorians always knew it would, and the prints come out blue.
